Guys, as mentioned a few times in the past 3 weeks, we have the opportunity to put the group in a team league beginning April 21st. we of course discussed the league is on Wednesdays, which is perfect and has no effect on our normal workout schedule. Also, as mentioned the league is at Palomar Junior College, and we will be in a little over our heads as we will be playing high school teams, but that is fine.
We do have one problem, and that is many of you are participating in track. The coach at Palomar is willing to help me in the early part of the schedule and let us play in the later games until we get all of you clear from track commitments. The games are normally at 5,6,7,8, and PM.
Even if he were to schedule us late, I still have concern with such a long day for you track/tennis participants.
There are only two other options. 1. any athlete currently that does not think they can make the league until track is over, you just won't go until track is completed, which means you would miss 2 games. This of course changes and impacts line ups tremendously. 2. we can ask to be put in the Tuesday league, and then do our Tuesday workouts on Wednesdays. Not really a good scenario.
If we go with option 1,we still have 7 that can definitely go, even thought I prefer to take about 10. So, what I need to know is out of all the track/tennis athletes, which of you still think you will try to make games if I can get them scheduled late, like 8 or 9 PM on Wednesdays?
Please make sure to discuss with your parents promptly. I need to hear responses from all you by noon tomorrow, so we can make a commitment.
Rough guess on costs will be about $40/player. a good value for 7 games.
any questions email me directly.

p.s. as a reminder we won’t take more than 10 to any game. I will base who goes to what games on the parameters already shared with you. those being attendance, practice habits, effort, our power rankings and being a team player. as we move forward we will also use productivity. that said everybody will be going a minimum of 4 games and more than likely 5 games.
